Advanced
At VIPER motorcycle training we recommend that after you've passed your full motorcycle test you consider taking your advanced motorcycle test with us. There are several advanced test organisations, however at VIPER we teach the Diamond Advanced motorcycle test which is the only one that is DSA accredited, i.e. officially recognised by the Driving Standard Agency.
The diamond Advanced Motorcycle test gives riders the oppurtunity to demonstrate their skills over a variety of traffic
- Set menouvres (U-turn, emergency stop)
- Questions on the highway code
- Eco-safe driving (common sense stuff really)
Who should think about taking the advanced training and test?
Riders who
- ride for work and require an occupational road risk assessment
- share a keen interest in developing their riding skills
- potential riding instructors
Test route locations - throughout Merseyside and Lancashire
Training - 2/3 sessions
Bikes and equipment - all provided by us, if need be included in cost
Cost - £220.00 - £290.00
Test duration - 60mins
Driving faults permitted: 6
Test cost: £54.00
Examiners: Robb Wynn - Head of lancashire road safety (he's a really nice guy!)
Successful test candidates will be entitled to:
- A recognised pass certificate (looks really good on your living room wall!)
- One year FREE of the masters drivers club
- One year FREE subscription to '????' Britains leading road safety publication for advanced drivers and riders
- Possible discount on your motorcycle insurance
Our instructors will train you to a very high level, insuring that you are competant in all theabove riding skills and manouvres. We have our own diamond examiner - Robb Wynn who is head of the lancashire road safety group motorcycling division. He's a lovely guy, very approachable and friendly. Together we will ensure that you successful in your advanced test and become a more competent, safe and professional rider.
