Viper Motorcycle Training In Southport, Chorley and Preston

CBT stands for Compulsory Basic Training. It was introduced in
1990 and is said to have cut motorcycle accidents by 50%
which is obviously very important to new riders.

Compulsory means the training must be successfully completed before anyone can ride on their own on the road but unlike lots of other compulsory rules this one should be lots of fun to complete.

Basic says exactly what it is. When you have completed our course you will not be able to join the White Helmets display team or be asked to ride for a GP racing team but you will be competent to continue your learning safely by yourself.

We have a range of bikes for our pupils use

50cc scooters for 16 year olds
125cc geared motorcycles
500cc motorcycles for DAS

The use of these machines are included in course costs.

TEST IN UNDER 1 WEEK

For people under the age of 21, 125cc motorcycle courses are available.

DAS: Direct Access Courses are available to people aged 21 and over, and allow you to ride a bike of any power, these start with CBT if necessary followed by 2, 3, 4 or 5 days tuition.

We can arrange courses or just a few hours tuition as required.
